First of all, you need to know what you want and aim for it. You can't be a succesful businessman, invent something, be a movie star and be famous all at the same time. Choose one and then go from there. but they're all so different fields, so it depends on how to start ur journey. For instance, if you want to invent something, first u have to invent it, and then market it, commericalize it and make it popular. But if you want to be a famous actor, then you have to start small, get an agent and work your way up bigger and bigger. My advise is pick something you love doing and ur best at and then talk to someone who really knows that business. Actor - agent. Inventor - Professor or another inventor. etc.

Every 22 year old thinks the world is just waiting for them to unleash themselves upon it and take it by storm. The sooner you wake up and realize that none of those things are realistic
the better off you'll be. 85% of people who start businesses fail within five years. Most of the ones who survive are sole practitioners of a profession or trade such as a lawyer going into private practice or a plumbing contractor. Some of the others do it part time on the side or have a service business with very low overhead. Some don't make a lot but prefer self employment. Unless you are an expert at something you shouldn't be considering starting a business. You'll fail. And as far as becoming a movie star, get that idea out of your head. Over 99% of people who take acting classes never book one paying job. Talent is important but without a huge amount of hard work and the correct information you will get nowhere. No one gets "discovered."
The biggest dreamers in the world are also the biggest losers. You'll never attain your goals if they are too high. You'll live your life perpetually disappointed. Set smaller, realistic, shorter term goals and you may actually meet them and be able to build on them. When I sold cars they hired a guy with no experience. He boasted that he was going to sell more than twice as many cars as anyone ever had. He was driving his parents car for now but within three months the company would be giving him the fanciest demo car. He would make over 100k his first year. Two months later he had tears in his eyes and nothing in his pocket as he walked to the bus stop. You need to learn how the world REALLY works. I'm not trying to stomp on your dreams. I'm trying to tell you the truth so you can make something of yourself and live a good life. The quest for fame and fortune is a fool's errand. My advice for living well, take good care of your health, a proper diet, excercise, proper rest and sobriety. Get a decent paying job that suits you. Take 10% of your money and invest it. Stay out of debt. Live frugally. Live simply. Family and friends are important. Don't neglect that aspect of your life. Get an education. It can never be taken away. You have a lot to learn. No shame there. Learn what you need to learn.

By getting a job and doing it very very well. Someone will notice. If you have great ideas for new products or new ways of marketing products or services, send them to your company's executives with dated carbon copies to yourself. If they steal the idea and it makes money without compensating you in any way, SUE EM

There are lots of talented actors , for example , whose most practiced line is 'will there be fries with this?'. You have to be lucky.Maybe make a video of yourself doing what you do , ( get a friend who will be critical , to help you) then post it on YouTube/MySpace , etc. It might work.
