I still have my first Nokia. The big analog ones (model 201 or something like that). That was a darn good phone and I used it for years. I had people asking me what it was at the end. "What do you mean? It's a cell phone." I guess it was time to get rid of it. I keep it cause it's still cool (must be the engineer in me). I still have my Mot V60 too. That was a darn good phone, to bad it was TDMA or I'd still be using it. I always liked the v60. The SonyErickson I just moved up from. I wanted to throw that one in the river but it didn't seem fair to the fish so it's in the drawer too. I have a Razor now, love it. I expect to have this one a long time (then I'm sure it will go to the cell phone drawer ;-) ).

i do no longer think of she needs a fancy or costly telephone, and he or she does not prefer one with information superhighway get right of entry to at her age. yet i think she ought to have one. She's center college elderly. while i grew to become into that age i grew to become into strolling to and from college on a daily basis. numerous circumstances my friends and that i had emergency circumstances and because we did no longer have telephones we had to invite strangers for help. One time a chum slipped on ice strolling to college and broke her arm. as quickly as a chum collapsed and had a seizure. I have been given numerous bee stings, and as quickly as I had a very undesirable allergies attack. this is plenty safer for somebody her age to have the potential to call for help in a situation like that than to place self belief in asking strangers.
