well if you have the windows XP CD then just put in into the CD drive and then select reformat... if you don't have the CD then go to start, then go to run, then type in

cmd

and hit enter, then once the command prompt has opened type in

format c:

and hit enter... Don't forget once you do this there is no going back

First of all, go into Device Manager and write down all the manes of the devices (you need this to retrieve the proper drivers later).

2. Copy off all files that you want. Reformat WIPES THE HARD DRIVE CLEAN and all data will be lost.

3. If your pc has or can make the system recovery cd's, start boot the pc on disk 1 of the recovery cd. This should completly rebuild the pc as it came out of the box.

Insert you Windows XP CD, boot from CD, press enter to begin setup, delete the partition, creqte new partition in NTFS, install windows.

You must backup all data you want saved as you will lose all info when you reformat. Also make sure you have all hardware drivers available, or download them from the manufacturer website.

Do NOT format c: if you dont have the CD, because if you dont have the CD, you can not reinstall Windows.

Take it to a computer repair shop because more then likely you will have to buy another versian of windows as well. Reformatting resets your systems memory to its factory specifications... unfortunately that is BEFORE they install windows.

SAME WAY AS ANY OTHER PC JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE DRIVERS FOR EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU START
