It's an older movie called Splendor in the Grass with Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood - think of it like the Notebook but where they don't end up together.

Its a bit of an older film, but I have always thought that "Somewhere in Time" starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve was a truly heart wrenching romance. In other words... a "tear jerker".

A must see in my book!
