I had an actual "waking dream" as they're called. I was literally paralyzed with fear as an old lady was standing at the foot of my bed staring at me (she was obviously the dream part). Scared the crap out of me...bothered me for days. I still get the shivers just writing about it....

OMG YESSSS!!!!! Just the other night. I think mine and my husband's relationship must be lacking in romance, because I had a dream that I was single. I met this guy that looks exactly like that guy from One tree hill and he also plays in that movie with Hilarry Duff- A cinderella story. Yeah I have no idea what his name is. But I dreamt that me and this guy went on a date and then went out on the lake on a boat and ate dinner....and we talked and laughed. And it felt so real. And when we kissed I actually felt that butterfly feeling you get when you first become involved with someone. And I felt it in real life while I was dreaming. It was crazy!!!!!!!!! So I know exactly what you are talking about. LOL. I think the dreams that feel real are reflectant upon your real life and it is your sub conscious talking to you

Actually yes.
I recall one night opening my eyes in the middle of the night and seeing small aliens with flash lights near my bed. There was a light fog around them.

I was not frightened at all and I remember thinking that the fog was coming from them because it was winter, the room was very very cold and they must have been very warm.

Obviously it was a dream, but I would swear in my heart that I actually opened my eyes for a few seconds, saw what I saw and then went back to sleep quite peacefully, as if it was very natural to see what I saw. Or should I say, what I think I saw...

When I recall the incident, I don't recall it as a dream but as fact. I compute it in my rational mind as a dream..

Yes... I hate those dreams. The next morning I wake up and at first I almost think that the dream happened the day before, until I realize that I was just dreaming it.

Yeah, when I had typhoid fever.
I woke up screaming and crying and pointing to the clock.
Hahaha. That's crazy! I dreamt that the world would end shortly because of me. Hahahaha. I was really sick that time.

But when it's pleasant there's a bit consciousness while I'm dreaming that says: Oh great...this is just another dream.
Hehehe.

Good Lord yes. I woke up not at all sure what just happened. It took me a few minutes to realize it was a dream. My legs felt tired from running and I had never left the bed.

Yes I have but, this is very personal: I will relate some of it to you, not all. I have vivid dreams of relatives that have been close, they've come through with shattering noises as they pass through the veil. As Sylvia Brown states, they can only visit "some" not all. So, my sisters look to me in answers of our passed on parents and others. Not all the time but, sometimes, they will come through and I can be told of future events that sometimes happen with regularity.
My mother told me of me fathers passing, she stated rather clearly that she's "coming for him today" he passed on that night, a few Weeks later, he came and told me "he was happy once again"
That's all I'd rather say.

I had a dream so real I that I realized it was a dream. Once I realized though, I tried to wake up, only to find that I couldn't.

Scared the **** outta me.

i do and sometimes still has them...
i dreamt that i climbed a jagged ,very traitorous mountain...everything is dark and cold...the climb is hard and yet it seems so real...i could feel that i am climbing as hard as i can and as fast as i could...as if i am on the run!the worst is when i reached the top...i would suddenly find myself falling down the steep mountain edge...into an unknown ravine...i feel like i had reached the bottom...but that is when i will wake up...sweating and trembling...
i do not know what it means...but it is scary
