Well, I will answer to saturnfive's description and I'm not related to the McCanns.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that a relative of the family could be posting on here - if I was related, I might find it difficult to resist the temptation to challenge the hate campaign. However, I think it's more likely to be wishful thinking on the "anti's" part because it would allow the posts to be ignored - and you're not having much success with that otherwise, are you?

I wouldn't regard it as obvious at all that we are "all pro maddie". Many of the "anti's" posting on here don't appear to give her much thought at all.

I get annoyed by folk assuming the same principle for months. The only record played against the McCanns is the 'I would never leave my children stance', beyond that there is not much you can say and once you move on from that pity is something everyone should feel for those parents. At some point the record needs changing to a more empathetic one since grinding on about the parents wrongdoings will not change the situation.

I know some pro McCann's do not and never will condone child neglect. They are opposed to the endless rants and questions which are just nit picking or in extremely bad taste that are aimed at the McCann parents.

I would class myself as 'anti' hate the name but I believe that some people have posted some very valid and interesting posts against the McCann's. I believe there is more to this case then the McCann's would like us to believe. However, I am not going to start nitpicking over every last thing the parents do.

I don't believe that the majority of 'pro' are related to the McCann's they just believe in not crucifying a family and anyone else associated with it.

There are some real sick people on here. If my child had gone missing under theses circumstances, yes, I would feel guilt and shame for leaving him/her alone, but I would have to live with those feelings and hopefully would act like the McCanns have in keeping the campaign to find Madeleine well in the public eye. I, hopefully like them, would not give two hoots what sickos like there are on here think of me!!

Refusing to participate in the spite and bitterness does not equate with supporting the parents, I find it hilarious that anyone who calls themselves an 'anti' cannot see the difference
.And now if someone dares to disagree with the same 'anti's' they automatically must be relatives.?
Can you not just accept that people are entitled to think differently about any given subject without there needing to be a suspicious ulterior motive.
For the record: I do not agree with what he rparents did, yes it was neglect, no I do not think neglect is good, but I also don't like the spite and gang mentality I see on here

I think it's people like you, who are trying to keep a divide going. People are getting fed up with the petty arguing but still questions like this are posted, which raise no debate or moral issue whatsoever. Posted just to see what sarcastic or abusive answers you will stir up!

I have thought that in the past.

Maybe big Philomena is sitting at her computer sweating away defending her wee bro!

Um...i'm not. Honest.
And if i were i wouldn't waste my time online...I'd be in Portugal, interacting with the police & door-knocking & praying, just the way i believe Madeleine's family are doing right now. No, we don't have details of what they do & rightly so. Its an investigation.

Edit: Daves, that is such a typical question from you...!
I wouldn't know the name of the family behind that door. But i know for certain that they have door-knocked (if you're THE Dave s, you'll remember me asking ages ago about this) & were advised by experts to leave this kind of a track to a PI which is being done. Just 'cos you & your friendly media do not have details of their search you CANNOT assume they are not searching. Now back to work!

No, I am not related.
Not sure I understand what you mean when you say "Those that still stand up for her parents".
Do you mean those that have always agreed that leaving a child alone is neglectful but who have objected to the continued innuendo, speculation and often vile comments which come together to form the ongoing Hate campaign.
Is it those that you mean.
Yep, thought so.
Dave s, your response to this question is a perfect example of your current standard of input into this ongoing "Debate" but then enough people have been telling you that your already low standards have finally slipped into the gutter where you will probably find your latest prodigy, Jerry s Does he .make you feel proud Dave.
