First, I don't have an Impulse, but I've had other phones.

My fav way to transfer stuff to (and from) the phone is to use Bluetooth wireless. Most phones have it, some pc's do too, but it's only like $10 to add it (about the same cost as a cable) to the pc (and then you'll have it forever. And you can use it for all sorts of Bluetooth gadgets.

Turn on Bluettoth on both camera & pc, allow them to link with each other (trust each other). You can then send things back and forth between pc & phone.

Once you get used to this way of sending things, you'll be totally hooked!

And you can do the same between 2 phones. If someone has a cool ringtone, they can send it to you, for example.

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless network, only 10 to 20 feet or so, and is free to use.
