I have always found it very difficult to ask for help. Even when someone offers I tend to refuse, saying that I'll manage. Having always been looked upon as super competent for some reason (quite a burden in life) I suppose it would be like losing face to admit that I sometimes struggle. Still, I've always thought it must be better to give help to others rather than receive help ones self ... but I realise I should let it go both ways sometimes.

To Answer as subliminally BEST as I know how:
It depends. Usually I can ask if I think it's relevant
to the people I'm asking...
<< The Beatles' lyric, "...opened up the doors,"
reminds me of a Duran2 lyric, "something on
my mind,,,breakin' open doors I'd sealed up
before..."--I believe it's from "Cracks In The
Pavement," off their 1984 "Seven & the
Ragged Tiger" album/cd.
<< Now, HELP me escape my incessant
habit of digression. [Hey, that WAS easy!}

Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.
When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.
When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these daya are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.
and if thats the question i dont bother people with my worries much

Depends what it is I need help with, if it's something simple like I need help moving something, absolutely.
If it's something more serious, pride can occassionally kick in but in the end I usually realise I do need help, much as I hate to admit it.

if i need help them I usually ask my best friend. she is like a mother to me and i can talk to her about anything. She is also the kind of person who would tell you a straight answer and also would help you no matter what.

I don't ask... as much as I needed somebody, I just pull through it myself. There's no one that could really help me anyway.
