I had some problems with ebay not loading my select a catoagroy in the selling section - so I contacted live help - their solution was download java updates then restart pc.

I did that, and it didnt work, and now, the screen (internet explorer window) is shaking everytime I click a tab. IfI minimise it, then click the tab in the bottom tray to try and maximise it, it flicks up and goes straight back down again.

It also does stupid things, like when I go to my favourites section, I click to go in and it will flick the list open and close it just as quick - it is hell annoying, BUT IT WAS DOING THIS BEFORE I DOWNLOADED JAVA, same with the minimise/maximise thing.

I dont know if this is relevant but I use ZA and spybot sd. the other day I ran a spy bot scan and half way through it had a window come up saying something about a trojan - and it said check log for details. However when the scan finished, there was no evidence of any trojans, just two microsoft

...microsoft windows entries - which I asked about on here and was told they were harmless.

I havent always had zonealarm, just got it a few weeks ago, before that the computer was new and I did surf the net unprtected for a little while before getting the ZA program.

Some of these problems were there before I downloaded java updates, but the screen shake wasnt.

Ebay wont load the select a catagory part for when I try and sell things - is this related? how do I fix this also...?

Kira, it does sound like your machine is infected. The problem with Internet Explorer is that is is so widely used so malware writers target it more than other browsers. A temporary fix use Firefox or Opera
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
http://www.opera.com/

Use AVG Anti Spyware

The best advice I can give is to go to http://www.malwareremoval.com/ and follow their advice, I can guarantee they will clean up any virus you may have for free . I know you probably want a quick fix but it will work.

Either the video is going bad or the monitor is going bad. I highly doubt you have a virus. I have seen this a number of times and 60% are are caused by the monitor on its last leg and the other 40% the video card is going bad. Check that route before thinking of a virus and such

From the point you are born to the point you die, you are alone.I know this is cliche, but think about it for a second.Think about life as a road.On this road, you meet people who hang around you for a while and they go away.Until you die, this repeats. So get used to being alone and learn how to have fun alone.Be self-centered.Every other person is just there to amuse you for a while. So if you are sad someone has dumped you or doesn't want to talk to you anymore, think of it as if their time is over.If somebody consciously tries to bring you down though, go and shut their mouths.Don't let them get popular off of you.Good day.

If nothing else works for you.... I see many suggestions, I would uninstall your spyware/ antivirus programs and see If this corrects your problems. You can always reinstall them again If you want, but If the unistallation cures the problem, its your spyware/antivirus software causing the problems. Some software programs that are supposed to protect your computer, are actually making It less stable.
