When I watch videos on this computer and it has to "buffer" up to 100% to watch. It never seems to run smoothly but instead freezes up, or skips. The sound always plays normal, the video just never plays right usually. Sometimes it does depending on what video. On my computer with the Ethernet cable it never really seems to stream videos well, or does the same as what I was talking about before. What is something good to do, buy, or add on to make it buffer and stream videos better?

I live in 3 storied apartments and they all come with internet. I assume sometimes that since other people are on the net that is slows mine down when it comes to viewing videos. Is there any device, or "box" I could buy to run my cable from the wall into the box and then into my computer for it to help?

And how do I go about upgrading my video decoding or what is good to buy? And from where?
