This page isn't easy to read, but it lists the timeline of all the Star Wars novels. Truce at Bakura took place immediately following Return of the Jedi and was a good book. I think I read it in a day or 2. I actually had intended to find this information today since I have fallen behind on reading the Star Wars novels.

Truce at Bakura is right after Return its ok. Shadows of the Empire is before Return this is by far the best novel in the Star Wars saga.
