Ouch, I hope this Yahoo answers has good protection, because I know I do.
I hope you don't have a credit card, bank account, social security, and all other personal files all saved on your windows <---- cough computer.
You need to wipe your computer because, no matter what people tell you, your not going to figure out how to remove any suspicious attacks.

If you can get on-line anyway at all you should be able to get to system restore. When you first turn the pc on does it boot up the way its supposed to? If so run a scan and defrag on it, if you have win-2000 or higher it will do it for you if you start it. You could start there but need more info like 2 drives, AGE of pc ETC

Sounds very akward to me but try these things!..
1.Run in safe mode... try to CHKDSK or Scandisk it !
2. Try holding F10 @ boot! Recovery mode on modern Day OS's if No disks were found
3. Try running TweakUI From Microsoft see if it will work.
(download from microsoft if you can still get internet!)
4. If not try making an Ubuntu Live CD! it can read NTFS or FAT32. May fix a little bit!
5. Google your Model! chances are you may have a common problem!
6. Contact the Manufacturer
7. Buy a New Hard Disk and have a local PC Store to install it if you cant!
8. Standard Fix Procedure: Unplug PC from Outlet! now wait 5 minutes. plug it in again.. see if it works
i really hope it helps!!!

How many drives are installed in your computer? If your boot drive is going out it would say drive 0 not found. What kind of OS do you have. If one of your drives is going out you might have trouble booting but once the bad drive is disconnected it should boot. Device 0 boots first then device 1 boots second. unless their is a custom boot order.
