OK. I'm going to be a fresh(wo)man. Everybody that lives around me is one year older than me, and I don't exactally like them all that much; they do bad stuff. SO, as if going on a bus with them isnt bad enough..I need help on what I should do when I walk OFF that bus and am on Campus Alone! It'll be hard to find my friends from Junior High. ALSO; what should I do when It's time to go to lunch & I don't really know anyone? I'm nervous as heck! I don't want to be stressed/nervous/scared all at the same time for my first day!

By the souds of it, ur in the U S of A and their highschools are different to our aussie ones.
But thankfully I know what u mean.
When I got into HighShool I was freaking bout how hard the work was going 2 b and if I would make friends.
It happens I was a loner 4 a while but I ended up in a group just by being myself.
I know it must be annoying how many ppl tell u that but it works.
HighSchool is a jigsaw puzzle.
Everyone goes somewhere.
And If u go everywhere, you will click somewhere.
And bit of a hint.
In class, dont sit right up front.
Just sit somewhere as close to the middle as u can.
That way u will be unbiased 2 ur own abilities (seemingly to them) and will b more likely to be accepted.
And maybe if u cant find somewhere to go,
just get an mp3 player or sumthing and sit byt urslef and listen 2 it.
someone is likely to approach u and if any1 teases u, U wont hear it.
But also try not be totally tolerent of teasing.
Think up sum comebacks in situations and use them.
(Try using bigger words so they will try and look smart and end up looking like idiots. Its good 2 b smart. Just remember.
Nerds may be 'uncool' ((Man that is so cliche')) but Nerd does = Genius.)

Call your friends from Junior High and agree to meet in a certain place right off. Then you can get your bearings too. Maybe agree to meet for lunch too. Also, look for people who also are new and introduce yourself. Ask if they would like to join you for lunch. After awhile you will be in the hang of things. As for the bus trips, use it to do something. I used to do my math assignment on the bus trip home and to school.

just chill best thing to do as a open conversation with anyone is ask for direction or maybe when you go to a class talk to people don't just sit there and start talking about what lunch they got and so forth and your find people sooner than it took you to ask these question high school isn't anything wait till college haha just joking college is alot easier...anyways just have fun and during lunch if you haven't met anyone by then just go to a table with similar kids in your shoes who look nervous and ask to sit and there you go...don't worry about the bus maybe your end up friend with them...can be friend and not do what they do!!! remember that!!!

It will not be as hard as you think. If you are scared, however, ask some of your jr. high friends to meet you in the bus area. When I got there, I was amazed to find out that the upper clasmen had a welcoming committee for the freshman. They really were helpful.

it wont be that bad i promise. high school rocks! dont htink about it so much just kinda let it happen. you'll prally have met someone on the bus so walk off with them and if not just walk off by yourself no one is going to be like OHHH SHES BY HERSELF and just act like you know what going on. its pretty simple and at lunch if you cant find any junior high friends just sit with someone who feels the same you do and most likely youll meet someone in your classes. i promise it will be fine dont worry about it. high school = amazing. so much better than junior high. have fun!

be yourself, dont be afraid to meet new people, i guarentee that by lunch time you will have buddied up with someone in one of your classes who is just as nervous as you are and you can sit with them at lunch. high school is a blast.... enjoy it!

first rule Don't take any BS from anyone and don't let anyone push you around, if it comes to a fight then Fight and do your best, remember you get respect for the fact that you fought instead of being a coward and running, other than that just be yourself.

my buddy who is in 10th grade says you might be a loner the first week but you'll eventually make friends

highschool is so easy you'll see it will all work out and if it doesn't you can go to your concelor. Oh and don't try and act like your all that, you'll only make a fool of yourself.
