My female platy has gotten much larger and I think I see a "gravid" spot on her. Tonight she has been acting funny and she appears to have a sort of white "plug" next to her anal fin. Does the appearance of something like this sound familiar?? Any help is great

Yup, sure sound like she is going to give birth any time. Keep her in a breesind trap to keep her from eating the babies.
