Abrams is a good one to shoot for, but in reality most actors just starting out do a mass mailing and see if they get any interest at all from that. I assume you are in LA or NY so go to SAG.org or get Ross Reports and do your mailing from their list. If Abrams calls you, great, but if not maybe someone else will be interested. You send them your headshot, resume and cover letter. Remember that agents are looking for people with solid training, good roles alread on their resume & in all honestly and agent at Abrams probably will not see you without a personal reference so if you know someone who is already a client or knows someone in the office personally then ask them to set up a meeting.

Good luck

Send them your headshot and resume. They get tons of them. Don't get your hopes up. Most are discarded after a quick glance if they even get that. They only sign experienced trained actors. They are in business to make money. Not to help you fulfill your dreams. An actor doesn't get to pick their agent unless they are big. You need to send headshots to a hundred to get a bite. Try it anyway though.
You can only gain.
