IF in the past I have been convicted of a crime including arson and public intoxication can I still get a job as a med aid?

I was in the medical field, there would be some question as to what happen, you'd have to relive what you did many times before they would be satisfied with you, as would be the facts over what happen.

A bank robber would never be allowed to work in a grocery with cash, a druggie would never be able to work in a pharmacy, etc.

I know a convicted felon that was into drugs, served time in prison and got into a large company with their knowledge of his crimes. They allowed him to work until he was forced to move up and, into the position of the pharmacy. They would not make a concession and pass him up but told him they "were sorry, after three years and exemplary work record, they couldn't allow him to work in the pharmacy" due to his past record.
This is going to follow you through your life. There is one way however, some States, one being Nevada, you can petition the court to close your record after six years for a fee of $600.00 this way no one can get your record without petitioning the court. Your record would be closed as in a juvenile.

Probably not. However, you should inquire whereever it is you wish to work.
