I'm not getting into details......

but I know that guys can "finish", and it's obvious when they "finish", you know... because of ejaculation.

but can guys actually have orgasms??

How can you tell the difference?

Even though I made this question as PG as possible, please only answer if you're not brain dead.

cumming is cumming.

an orgasm is when your head spins and you don't move for 5 minutes.....shaking, etc.

I've never actually seen that happen to a guy, and I was wondering if it does.

It's not a dumb question, you guys all just have sticks up your asses.

Serious answer, yes.

Most girls that think they've had an orgasm, haven't. Most guys have. Although the others are right in saying that guys have an orgasm almost everytime they ejaculate, their orgasms are not as powerful as females' and therefore can seem like a different ballpark.

For a male to have an orgasm as powerful as what you're describing it requires a lot of building. Personally I've only been able to have two very powerful ones and neither was during intercourse, it was oral and manual stimulation from my girlfriend. Once a girl knows a guy's body she can build him up to the point right before he ejaculates, then stop abruptly. It has to be VERY close, so close that one more stroke would set him off. My girlfriend repeated this about 10 times waiting 2 minutes in between. When she finally finished, I could feel my heart pounding so hard it felt like my chest was going to burst, and I could not stand up or even move myself around very much.

Honestly though, it is painful in a way and it's really too much to handle most of the time, so it's something she does few and far between.

Hope I helped.

Yes. An orgasm usually involves an involuntary muscular spasm including a forceful rythmic ejaculation. Sometimes ejaculation can occur without an orgasm .. but it differs in that it does not involve the rythmic muscular spasm that accompanies an orgasm... nor the eyes rolling back, the heavy breathing or :-) moan... some of which may or may not be included in this holiday package to blissville. A male orgasm is not the same as a female one. To be sure... but I have had shaky legs more thn once or twice in recent times that I can recall... it's all such a blur.

Its as plain as this. When a male orgasms he ejaculates. You cannot have one without the other. Speaking from personal experience there are some orgasms that feel so good I cant move for a minute or two and make lots of noise to other times that are just good and that's it.

Yes, men do have orgasms.

Their orgasm actually occurs in two stages. The first stage (emission) involves muscular contractions in the vas deferens, prostate gland, and seminal vesicles, which forces sperm and prostate & seminal fluids into the ejaculatory ducts, forming semen.

The second stage, called expulsion, consists of contractions in the urethra and muscles at the base of the penis to force the semen from the penis (ejaculation).

Although ejaculation occurs right around the same time as orgasm in men, they are two different events. Males can have orgasms without ejaculation (ex: before puberty), and some illnesses and side-effects of medications can cause ejaculation without orgasm.

Although I think your question stems from a bit of misinformation and perhaps some lack of knowledge in the area of male sexual function, you have a little bit of a good question there. Orgasm is a complex series of neuronal cell firing that results in the rhythmic pulsation & contraction of different muscle groups. Contractions along the genital tract are most intense, and these actually aid in fertilization (i.e. urethral contractions for semen ejaculation and uterine contractions for quicker movement of sperm along the female tract). However, for hundreds of years it has been known that both the stimuli & rate of achieving orgasms differs between men & women. Women are known to have longer, more pronounced orgasms, which, of course, leaves room for wondering about what the experience is in both sexes, and if potentially different.

Um, what exactly did you think that the finishing was all about? If they didnt have orgasms do you think that they would bother to masterbate? Yes when a guy ejaculates, 99% of the time he is having an orgasm. Tell the difference of what exactly? Read a book on sex and anatomy. Seriously.

Yes, we do have orgasms and they are separate from ejaculations. Ours do not last as long as does the female, only about 15 seconds. and we can't have multiples as you know them. We require a recharging time of a from minute to hours before we can do it again. They are intense and accompanied by muscle spasms and USUALLY by ejaculation. They feel awesome.
