America as a corporation?
America waging hostile wars against oil rich nations?
The federal reserve perhaps and the fact that they just keep on printing more money but if the Saudis were to withdraw it all the US would be bankrupted?
Please elaborate on your question.

They're a lot of American myths... Like the one about George Washington and the cherry tree. Which one are you talking about?

He's a little confused. He's posting in mythology when it should be in politics. Unfortunately he's managed to peg himself as someone who doesn't think the American Dream is worth anything as well as a "Bush Hater" (note difference between "Bush Hater" and those who legitimately and patriotically protest President Bush's policies and goals).

He seems to resort to name-calling, rumor spreading, and "guilty until proved innocent".

Son, most of us live it, at least to the extent we choose to. You point us to a better example, we'll take a look. In all likelihood, because of the way our country is structured and the way we welcome other countries' cultures into our own, we probably already have what your searching for.

That's the American Dream; the best of the world comes here.
