Please don't shut down what I am saying because of your group think mentality. Be brave and open and try to see another perspective. I love my country and I am a patriot. If my words anger you maybe you need to address why that is, instead of automatically assuming the worst about me and my views.
Ron Paul is called an extremist for following the Constitution to a T. He has never voted against the Constitution. He is not an extremist. He is a REAL small government conservative, in the image of the founding fathers: a Jeffersonian Republican. He is the only true Constitutionalist running. He is not an extremist. He's as American as apple pie and football and real capitalism. (to those who don't like real capitalism (not corporatism) please move to China or another big government socialist country)
All the other candidates, with the exception of Kucinich and Gravel perhaps, are Communist traitors for Corporatism disguised as Capitalism. Corporatism was called "socialist fascism" by its inventor, Mussolini, the Italian dictator who loved both Hitler and Roosevelt, one of the most treasonous unconstitutional Presidents in history.
Americans are so under-educated by our Communist modeled public education system that they don't even know Communism when they are living in it! Do some real research people. If you care anything about this great country, please educate yourselves instead of just falling into stupid group think mentality. Just because "they" tell you that Ron Paul is an extremist doesn't mean it's true. I used to love Clinton and now I am appalled at what I know from getting educated and waking up to the truth.

It;s a great forum - the page I linked to is all about how Communism is taking over our country covertly. Please read this and study up on what Communism is compared to true Capitalism, and then see who the real extremists are.
Give up the groupthink, break free and save the USA from the extremism of the Neos and their Communism disguised as "American." Communism can NEVER be American. It;s one or the other. WHich will it be??

The great thing about Ron Paul is, he's easy to introduce to people that haven't heard of him. He has no baggage, and uses sane reasoning behind most of his stances. They usually haven't made up their mind yet either.
The other thing (online at least), I see new supporters vs detractors at a rate of almost 6 to 1 every day (last 60 days). A few detractors have legitimate beefs with him - and I defend their right to speak of their beliefs, but most, are insignificant flame baiter's, so don't fall for it.
People other than normal Y!A participants read these answers, and these discussions are for you. Thank you for your time.

Here are his supporters "SPAMMING" on the streets of San Antonio! When will they stop? Don't they know that advertising for a presidential campaign is spamming?

I am calling for a BAN on grassroots movements.
----------------------------------------------
So the guy that wants to defend our liberty from the neocons who are trying to phase out the constitution is an EXTREMIST? Were our founding fathers EXTREMISTS?
By the way, he has not had 1% since he announced. And his support does not come primarily from the GOP party. The polls that you see on TV and in the paper only poll REGISTERED REPUBLICANS. Besides, those polls mostly reflect name recognition at this point, and only about 1000 people are called in each of these polls. They are not an accurate reflection of his support.
He has raised more than John McCain has in campaign cash, too.
With every debate, he gains ground, because that is when his message gets out to the people, rather than the Fox News spin. So as you can see, your best bet is to cancel the debates or try to keep him out of them all together.

Yup. It seems he runs for President every Election... Doesn't amount to anything though. People aren't interested in hearing the "truth". They just want to know what's in it for THEM... R. Paul is just another lonely "voice in the wilderness.."

Heard of him, have the bumper sticker, voting for him in November.
It's the first time I'm EXCITED voting for Prez..instead of just holding my nose and voting lesser of two evils.
I want someone who values the Constitutional protections every American should enjoy, a sound national currency, lowered taxation through limited government, and a strong national border. Go Ron!

Yeah, the first time I heard of him I thought they were talking about Ru paul. I'm not voting for him, the last thing we need is another fanatic for president.

Yes. I've heard of him. I think he's the only hope Republicans have.
The Democrats have a lot of good candidates this year, so we don't need hope.
Good luck, Ron Paul!
