there are some things that we simply cannot imagine.one of them is being without existence.

many people tried to imagine a forth dimension but this in my op ion is impossible.all you can fathom is the three dimensional world you live in today.their is no possible way to imagine the world without the x,y,or z axis.

so in short i cannot imagine any state of non existance, therefor i come to the conclusion that existance always exsisted.

peace from-the panentheist ^_^V

I would describe the state of non-existance not as the ceasing of existance, or 'death', for humans, which has many connotations, including medical and spiritual.

However, we must also consider if the void of something qualifies as a 'something' in and of itself. For example, the absence of light is darkness. Darkness is then a something, as it is used in contemporary language. Darkness, in the physical world cannot be seen, and is not tanglible, but light can be seen and is not tangible as well.

Non-existance is what you make of it. Perhaps none of us, truly and cosmically, exist at all.

Hello,

Transcendental reality would not exit anymore if substance and materialism would disappear so this would mean an form of non-existence. Think about it no materialism equals no food, no trees that means no life as for substance well I think you know now what I am referring too. So there is no need to say that non-existence is no space or time, for humans non-existence is no food or no trees from which we get oxygen, water as well equals life = existence.
Transcendental reality is the things that appear to us in our own vision not exactly as they are in reality, so I might add that all forms of reality would disappear if we would not have substance and materialism.

yea.. and I`m only 17... lol :)

bye.

Imagine yourself as a drop of water. You as a drop of water is rolling along the waves of the sea. Do you think, you as a drop of water exists or not? Of course you exist, but you don't know what, how, or which you are. As long as you cannot identify yourself which you are amongst the drops of water surrounding you, you will appear in your reality as non-existing.

For certain, you just know that you are there, but you appear to be everywhere, anywhere. Or if you are negative, you would just say "I don't exist. I am nowhere."

So you see, as long as you don't know how to realize yourself, although you truly exist, you may appear non-existant.

the absence of something (or any-thing) makes nothing (no-thing)
"
1. The condition of not existing.
2. Something that does not exist.

Great question.... Star!

To me non-existence means not to occupy either space or time... whatever occupies either space or time or both must exist to be able to do that.
