why can anyone just have a child? all i keep reading about are these horrible stories of child abuse!!! today a woman left her kids in the car in 88 degree weather for 8 hours and then put them in garbage bags dead under her sink in the garbage!!!!.......that is just absolutely disgusting...i dont care if your mentally challenged, duranged, or normal...before you give birth---there should be a 9 month course you need to pass to take a child home with you!!!

obviously not everyone goes to a doctor for 9 months so there would be problems...but this has got to STOP

I would have loved to have more info on child rearing before I became a mother! I did read up on what was available but to have a classroom or group that had experienced parents available to talk to would have been marvelous!
NO, I have never abused or neglected my kids- it just would have been nice to know some of the issues that can creep up on you.
And yes, I think there should be some kind of psychological test you have to pass to become a parent or before you take that baby home with you. I have nightmares about how the children felt during the abuse for days after reading or hearing about such horrible things parents do to their children,,,,,,, and can only imagine the pain that wonderful people that would love to be parents and can't be go through when these stories are reported.
Yes, it does have to stop.

i agree ENTIRELY!
parents shoudl have to go through parntla courses manditorially. and if you didnt want a child that is your mistake you shoud take that problem out maturely not like a sick disgusting wad of---i cant even give words to those type of people. And if you have children just to purposely hurt them, then you have to get some help, because theer is nothing more painful to hear,feel, or see than the pain of a wounded child.

obviously there's only one person out of her mind who answered this question so far who shall remain nameless..i agree gator and i did see that on msnbc about the children killed and in the garbage bags..it made me cry because like the one woman said about people who cant have children...me and my husband cannot have children and we would be wonderful parents even though I'm LOONEY LADY..I'd be the fun mom..lol...it does irk me though that you have to have a license to do all those other things but to put the life of a human being in your hands..aah..let them just have it...obviously no one can sit in and watch to make sure u don't have sex but they can be there when u take yr kid home and yes IT DOES NEED TO STOP

I agree! I have felt there should be restrictions to child bearing for several years now. Like if you have 17 kids and no job... tie her up... no more fore you... or if you have ever been arrested on serious drug charges... tie her up!! I mean come on people, isn't there a point where some woman should just roll over and stand up??
Just a note I don't mean literally tie her up. I mean she should be fixed.

Smoking. i will consistently earn greater funds to cover my playing and that i will consistently get so inebriated i don't care approximately my liver, yet i'm unable to un-get cancer from smoking. besides, playing and ingesting usually lead me to creating out with females... YEEEAAAAAHHHHH! yet smoking basically leads a a noisy, demanding cough.

People should be steralized at birth and recieve a college degree in child rearing before they are alowed to have their steralization reversed
