No for two reasons:
1) I don't think a non-American born person should ever lead the country because of concerns about divided loyalty. For the same reason, I'd never back anyone with "dual citizenry" for high elected office.
2) I don't share a lot of his opinions on social and economic issues.

I've been on vacation and just got back and my friend told me about the whole Arnold debate going on here.
Well, I live in CA, and f uck no would I even want him for pres (if he was somehow allowed to run). He's f ucked things up here and its only cuz too many people (especially minorities) don't vote here when they are more than eligible to (I'm talking citizens, not immigrants - of any nationality) and the rich white voters do. He didn't win by a landslide either of the two last elections.
And why would America be as dumb as f uck to even change the constitututional ban on foreign born citizens being allowed for pres? Even if there was one outstanding canidate, polititions are generally corrupt as it is and then add in foreign loyalties to boot. That would be just stupid and asking for trouble.
Can we just kill this stupid debate. I'm already embarrassed enough that we have to deal with him as govenor!

If someone started working on such an amendment today, it wouldn't get passed before Arnold died of old age. Things like that take a LOT of time.

Well you have to admit, he's a very determined person.
You don't come to this country with such a strong accent and become World's Body Building Champion several times over and a highly paid movie star by slacking..
But who needs him..when we can have u run for President?!
NIKA FOR PRESIDENT! -- ok i'm kissing major *** here

No.
He'll need to change the constitution. Which is VERY HARD TO DO. And I think the Xenophobic midwest and south would have trouble envisioning an Iraqi born American President. So the amendment won't pass.
Like Ruddie, Arnold is a horrible representative of republican values.

No, if only in protest of the fact that the Constitution was changed so that one man could run for President.

He's not qualified according to the Constitution.
Furthermore, no, because I'm unhappy that he consorted with Tony Blair about the global warming big lie. He's basically a liberal.

The only reason I would not vote for him would be because they changed the rules just for him.
If he would have been born in the U.S., then I would listen to his views and values before I made a decision--if I liked him then I would vote for him.
P.S. I gave you a star---great question!
