It is to survive, first of all. Second, It's about learning, growing, and developing your intellect through education and life experience. The future is weightless and the past is a stone dangling from your feet. Learning from your history cuts the rope binding the stone to your feet, and then you are free to progress into the future.

to understand other lifeforms better and keep eachother alive as well as protect this planet. to develop evidence to disprove that humans are superior to all other lifeforms or that no lifeform is better than another. once other lifeforms are better understood or the idea of human supremecy is dispensed with the answer to the meaning is closer. to learn new languages and skills that humans might communicate better. to create other life to understand how the brain works. to explore life through science. such as how the bodies are put together that a cell can be taken from a human. cells make up bodies so replicae animal cells the humans . there has been only this meaning found so far. it depends on what a person does with it. if it was valued more perhaps the meaning would be more.as in what happens in the world is meaningless as the foundations of civilization are not built on like but money and war. deaths to not mean as much as they should otherwise there would be none. truly none can be said to be alive as they are cold to death and are abstracted from the pain or how it feels or would feel then it is moved passed ignored when it happens by others. perhaps meaning can be found in religious unity so death can be reduced. unknnown. to atain peace be at peace mind un muddied by paranoia possibly. center religious or spiritual ideas around peace. no anwers there either. then using a peace symbol could by placing it on buildings to send that message write calming things on walls on posters. really all can suggest.

The TRUE meaning of life is: 1. Be born 2. Reproduce 3. Die
That's what all the animals in the Kingdom seem to be doing right? We are animals too, we're just the most intelligent.

Or B: Justice, Freedom, and the Pursuit of Hapyness.

Life is a condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects, i.e. non-life, and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally. A physical characteristic of life is that it feeds on negative entropy. In more detail, according to physicists such as John Bernal, Erwin Schrodinger, Wigner, and John Avery, life is a member of the class of phenomena which are open or continuous systems able to decrease their internal entropy at the expense of substances or free energy taken in from the environment and subsequently rejected in a degraded form.

A diverse array of living organisms can be found in the biosphere on Earth. Properties common to these organisms – plants, animals, fungi, protists, archaea and bacteria – are a carbon and water-based cellular form with complex organization and genetic information. They undergo metabolism, possess a capacity to grow, respond to stimuli, reproduce and, through natural selection, adapt to their environment in successive generations.

An entity with the above properties is considered to be a living organism, that is an organism that is alive hence can be called a life form. However, not every definition of life considers all of these properties to be essential. For example, the capacity for descent with modification is often taken as the only essential property of life. This definition notably includes viruses, which do not qualify under narrower definitions as they are acellular and do not metabolise. Broader definitions of life may also include theoretical non-carbon-based life and other alternative biology. Some forms of artificial life, however, especially wet alife, might alternatively be classified as real life.

Since this is being asked in the Psychology section of YA, I presume you are seeking only a feeling of meaning. Questions of real meaning of life would go to the Philosophy section.

Feelings of meaning are related to feelings of self worth. We imagine our family, friends and strangers giving their judgment on our worth to society. If we feel good about that, then we can deceive ourselves into thinking that is why we were put on this earth.

So to increase your feelings of meaning, you can
1) Focus on the good things you do. Help at a homeless shelter if you don't do enough good things.
2) Keep yourself busy to avoid thinking about real meaning
3) Focus on the small good feeling we come across each day, e.g. finding a good place to eat.

If you're interested in real meaning, you have to go to the Philosophy section but I'll tell you that real meaning lies only in a God who created us.

I think I know the answer to this question. It can be summed up into one complete, comprehensive word, "acceptance."

Romance is an element of acceptance.

Friendship is an element of acceptance.

Success is an element of acceptance.

Even love from the family is an element of acceptance.

I've been through a few racial incidents in my life. This has made me become full of issues. My pursuit of "acceptance" is hindered because of it all.

Acceptance.
