When I was about 3 or 4 years old, I hit my head REALY hard and had to go to the ER...I kept throwing up and had suffered from a mild concution. After the head injury, I would throw fits over the smallest things, and then be in time-out, and after I'd run to my daddy and say " daddy I couldn't help it, I tried really hard to stop, but my body wouldn't stop, I just couldnt do it"

Now that I am older, I can handle things differently, but sometimes do throw fits (in my room alone) and can't stop.

Is there types of brain damage? are theese actions caused by braindamage??

You don't say what your behavior pattern was before the concussion but if it changed significantly afterward then it could be from damage. A neurologist would be a good specialist to start with.

OK, don't get upset over this answer but this is what i see, and have experienced having children and a sister who acts the same way.
Kids are more apt to use their injuries as reasons to lash out and/or excuses on why they do it. If not controlled and they get away with it and get their way with it, they grow up thinking that this is a proper way and an OK way to deal with things. My sister is the same way. She is 21 with one of her own and one on the way. She was very injured as a small child. Did the same thing. Of course being the youngest she got away with it and always got her way. Now she does the same thing. of course not to the extent as when she was a child, but she does. And it still works for her. Sad way to live.

If you want to double look at things, try and tell your parents that your very concerned about it.If they say no,then if you still fill this way try and go to your grandma and ask her to take you to the doctor and you can get a cat scan on your head.

You don;t say where you were hit, but a blow to the frontal lobe could have causes a kind of personality damage where you cannot control what you say or do

No brain damage, good try though.
I had a concussion at 4yrs. old.
Yes...ask a doctor for real advise, but concussions don't cause brain damage unless you keep getting them. Then they can "potentially" cause damage.

tell me did the concussion hurt the front side of back of your brain (opposite side of head that you hit)? because complex emotions and more primal instincts are in the frontal lobe (part of brain directly behind forehead.

could be, seeing as how they (doctors) aren't completely 100% sure of all the ways the brain works and how it handles damage to itself, your best bet is go to see a doctor and have them give you a catscan
