Hey peeps! I just got a new pair of Converses and I was wondering if there was some other term for this style of shoe that has a white part in the front and two ventilation holes on the inner side and all that. I know I can just use the word Converses, but actually these shoes aren't Converses, there're some kind of asian brand because I'm vacationing in Asia for a month. So anyways, does anybody know the word for these shoes, that applies to all shoes that look like this? Please only answer if you're completely sure!

And also I know Converse is just a brand, I'm just using that word for the moment because it's a popular brand for shoes that look like this.

As you stated, these aren't COnverse, so why is everyone giving you other names of the brand?
They should read the questions.
Anyways, they are basically just sneakers.

the generic term for the shoe you described is 'baseball boot/shoe'.
Converse is a brand name,as is Chuck Taylor.well actually he's the dude that sort of pioneered the Converse shoe,but..um..yeah.

The real origanal Converse high tops say "Chuck Taylor' in the circle on the ankle.

I think the converse brand calls them All Stars.
Try calling them that, if thats not what they are called you can use that as unique slang to wow your friends.

Sweety, converse is a brand name. not a style. The style is called chuck taylors. or chucks for short.
