No I missed it... early bedtime... BUT I'll have my geriatric cronies amassed in some retirement home for the next one... I'll make popcorn and prunejuice... with a running play by play with a bullhorn for those with weaker eyes and ears... it'll be a hoot! ... lookin' forward to it.

I hope I'm dead by 2061. I don't remember seeing it in 1985, but I remember seeing other comets since then.

I don't think so..even if I did, I was too young to be able to remember it. I hope I see it in 2061.

Very faintly. even at age 12, I was disappointed. In retrospect I would have rather seen Frehley's Comet. :P
Hyakutake and (particularly) Hale-Bopp were much more visible and very impressive, in the 1990s.

I did see it in 85. My name is Hayley, so it was kinda a cool thing when I was little. Will I see it in 61? I sure hope I live that long!

Yes I saw Halley's Comet, so very cool. I'm 41 now so I don't think I will get to see it again :-(

I was in high school when I saw it. I probably won't see it when it comes back, although if I get to live as long as my grandma then I will.
