He was fine 4wks ago, had fall 2wks ago, since developed lump on back of neck, history of cancer, yet they still have no diagnosis this is his 6th day in hospital they dont know if its cancer or broken neck, weight loss horrific and rapidly getting worse, they have no answers and have run few tests, the have not tube fed him and he hasn't eaten so could be part reason for decline but they only have him on a saline drip (for 6 days now) plus he is on antibiotics as he has developed 'some sort of infection since hospitalisation - also morphine for his pain? shouldn't they be doing more? are they meeting legal requirements for duty of care? is their assumption that it is cancer due to fact he had it of the mouth(tongue cut out) 15yrs ago some sort of legal ignorant neglect, can anyone help? is there anything I can do?
