BTW criminals dont buy guns through registration like normal people, they get illegal guns through black market, thus leaving you defenseless

I agree! We would have a crime free and polite society. Guns are great equalizers and allow a 98 pound woman to defend herself against a 250 pound man. It also allows the population to defend it's self against the government. 3/4s of the police forces could be shut down, 1/2 the courts could be closed and 2/3rds of the lawyers would be out of work. Sounds pretty good to me. Obviously training standards would need to be quite high, like they should be before you are allowed to drive!

In every state or town where carry permits are issued crime
has gone down. In Tennessee or at least in my county one
must get a permit to carry through the sheriff's dept. There's
a safety course one must pass as well as target practice. The
people at VT responsible for there gun laws should be
brought up on charges. Contributing to the death of more than
10 or 15 people. -Pick a number-.I got my first 22 rifle when I
was 14. By the time I was 16 I could drive a nail with it. If
some of the "good ol' boys" at VT wouldn't have been obeying "there laws" who knows how many of those kids
would be alive today. It's good to know that there's others
out there that feel the same as I do about about stupid gun
control laws.

I wouldn't want EVERYONE carrying a gun. There are some real idiots out there. Responsible citizens should carry, though. There would be less crime. Criminals would almost immediately be brought to justice. Just look at the countries or even US cities that ban honest citizens from carrying a gun. Crime is sky high.

Yes... theoretically what you said is true, they did a poll of criminals in jail, and they said that they feared gun owning citizens more than the police, but if everyone carried a gun... normal crime would go down, but there would be an increase in people getting killed in normal fights because guns would be used by people with bad judgment, especially when they're flared up.

i think the crime level would be the same or slightly less. the criminals dont want you to have guns to protect yourself with. they are just cowards that take what they want and force themselves through the firearm onto others. most of the people i know have guns. only two have had negative experiences with guns both chose to go down the wrong path. one got his brains splattered the other splattered another mans brains. both chose drug dealing and controling others over protecting and providing for themselves and their families. both are paying the price. the one got 25 years to life. both were best friends of mine when i was a kid. households where guns are present have a satisticaly lower incidence of accidental injury or death than with people not raised and properly instructed in how to respect the fire arm.
as for wolfs comment in all states you are legally allowed to carry guns if you have the proper licensing with the exclusion of certain places like schools banks governmental bildings etc.
