It all depends what your personal & family view is.
However, once you start shaving, your hair will grow back stronger.
In Europe they don't shave as much as in the U.S.

I started in 6th grade, so 11 or 12. I don't think you're too young. Use a new razor (after using them for awhile, the blades get dull and then you have to use more pressure to shave... that's usually how you get cut) and plenty of soap or shaving cream (hair conditioner works, too) and go slow.

I think 13 is a good age to shave but it depends on your situation, what do your parents think about it? You need someones support to ensure you get all the things necassary to perform it properly- eg. shaving cream, good qualtiy razor, moisturiser. You also want to be careful not to cut yourself.
Is your hair that obvious? Does it bother you? If it is light and can barely be seen, there is no need to do it just because everyone else does. But if it is bothering you, I cant see why you shouldn't but be careful because the first few times you could cut youself and around your ankles can bleed for ages.

im 13 and i shave i started when waz like 12 some thing better then shaving is nair its a cream you put on and it takes the hair away and you not too young

If you have noticeable hair on your legs than yes. If you are uncomfortable with your legs, then tell your mom how your feel. It's not really a big deal, but once you start shaving, you have to keep on doing it. Good luck!

ummm yea 13 means ur a teenager u have to shave at this age cuz ur body is experiencing alot.and yes shave if u dnt want hairy legs!!

They may be afraid you are going to hurt yourself with the razor. Ask if you can get an electric razor, and see if they agree.
I started shaving at 11. My parents gave me an electric razor designed for younger girls, so I wouldn't hurt myself. It was only later that I moved on to regular razors.

I did at 12 and my mom said I was too young, but I disobeyed and sliced a big piece of skin off of my shin... still have the scar :)

If your starting to grow hair and its showing up and looks embarrasing I would. Thats around the time that the female hormones are starting to take effect. If your not showing any hair I wouldn't start. Because as soon as you do. You will have a lifetime of hair growth.....
