Need to stay on formula until first bday... then I'd start diluting it (like 1/4 milk to 3/4 formula, then a week later 50/50...)
Either in a bottle or start a sippy... some say you should wean from a bottle at their first birthday... some say it's not that big a deal... let them have it for a little while longer. You decide the container, but the American Academy of Pediatrics says breastmilk or formula for at least the first year.

No cow's milk before age 1. The old advice is to start switching to cow's milk right after the first birthday no matter what. The new (and far more logical advice) is to only begin to switch from formula to cow's milk once the child's diet is mainly non-milk feeds and nutritionally balanced (so if your toddler eats a lot of solids but it's only mac and cheese and hotdogs that's not balanced so they still need the nutrition from cow's milk). Toddlers should also be screened for anemia prior to switching to cow's milk as cow's milk can cause anemia so toddlers with anemia or even levels at the low end of normal should remain on formula.
There is nothing that formula lacks that cow's milk has, there are however many things that formula has that cow's milk does not. There is no real reason to switch at any age. Humans are not developmentally ready to be weaned until between the ages of 2-4 and cow's milk is just another breastmilk substitute. Many cases of low weight gain could be prevented by continuing to use formula which you already know is well tolerated by your toddler.

Pediatrician normally recommend formula until atleast a year of age. After a year you can start weaning from formula to using whole milk.
You do this by adding an oz of milk to the x amount of formula you use in a bottle. Each week raise the oz's of milk in the bottle and lower the oz's of formula.
Eventually the whole bottle / cup will be all milk. / only 16 oz max a day!
At a year your child's main food source should come from solid food!
* Your child should be taking a vitamin at this point as well*

This is really a question for your pediatrician, however it is generally believed that children should not be given cows milk until at least one year of age. Very often cows milk will give young children gas and diarrhea since their systems aren't developed enough to break down the milk proteins. When it's time to give her milk you should start by mixing a little in with her formula and gradually increase the amount of milk until she's completely off of the formula.

Unless her doctor tells you to start early, not until 12 months. The easiest way to switch is to mix the whole milk 1/2 & 1/2 with the formula for a week or so to get her used to it, and slowly decrease the formula until it is all milk.

Doctors say not to wean to regular milk before age 1. So, she's got a few months.
I just started slowly, giving my kids one bottle of regular milk and the rest of the bottles in the day formula, until one day it was all milk and no formula. I think this took about 1-2 weeks.

A pediatrician would say to give fresh milk at around the age of 1yrs. and if you ARE going to give milk it should be no more than 16oz per day. which is what my pediatrician tells us. my baby just turned 1. Like everyone says start her also on sippie cups and also mixing some milk with powder in her bottle. Be expecting some diarhea for at least a couple of days until she gets accustomed to it.

We were told to wait until my daughter was a year old to switch to milk. She had no problem with the switch though, and just started drinking the milk without us needing to wean her. It probaby wouldn't hurt to just try one a day for awhile though...

12 months old
Just replace 1 milk drink per day, and then after a week or 2, replace another milk drink and so on.
