Building a house right now. I personally cut down my own trees and had them sawed into lumber to make my own hardwood flooring for the entire house. May have an area rug or two but all floors will be wood.

I have 4 dogs and I can't stand carpet, between the dogs and my mother spilling coffee on the carpet it looks horrible..I love hardwood floors with lots of rugs

I like the look of carpet but it is very hard to keep clean . I like wood floors they are easier to clean but you have to take your shoes off while walking on them else it will ruin the farnish.

Hardwood floors are so much nicer and classier! Carpets hold dust mites and dirt......ewwww!
