Hitler? I would be safer. I like Jesus, so Stalin would have had me arrested and my family too. Of course, if they were killing Jews, mentally retarded people and gays, I am pretty dang sure I'd be trying to help them escape, so I'd end up dead anyway. But you do what you have to do. Couldn't live with myself otherwise. I can't even steal music off of limewire or cheat on tests! The Soviet Union used torture and as a wussy, I know I wouldn't hold out well against that. Hitler gassed them nice and easy for the most part.

I'm a libertarian, so this question creeps me out.

No it does not have to be one or the other. I am a American , United States Citizen, and I do not have to live in a country that was ruled by Stalin or Hitler, right now. In 09, we may have to really fight , to keep this from happening. Ask again, in 09, then you will see how many citizens have submitted to this sort of rule.

Hitler's Germany. I'd at least get good treatment there, since I'm about 75% German and the other 25% Norwegian and Irish. The USSR treated it's people like sh-t and killed anyone that posed a political threat or spoke out against the government. Hell, even Stalin's closest friends were executed, merely because he was paranoid they were gonna try and take him out.

well hitler if i had the traits of the master race because apparently he gave great benefits to those who where of so called "Aryan blood", Stalin if i wasent but stalin acctualy killed more people, during the great purge stalin would order the secret police to create a list of people that would be executed or be sent to Siberia to work at the slave labor camps the secret police would right down names of innocent people because they had to meet a quota of people to be executed or sent to the gulags he sometimes if the list was 5,000 to be executed on a certain day and he felt like more he said to find more people. So yea id rather be ruled by hitler

Most people who lived under these creeps didn't have a choice. I'm sure the Kulaks and Jews would have escaped if they could have.

It's funny that people are saying Hitler. Hitler lost the war and Germany was left in ruins. The Russians survived and rebuilt. If it weren't for the U.S. and allies, (West) Germany would have been left behind.

I don't think I would have to ever choose either one. I believe that the way America is set up it would protect us from evil like that. So I choose neither because I refuse to follow your rules too.

Well, if I wasn't Jewish, I would have to say Hitler...cringe. Stalin didn't care about anybody but himself. He starved all his people and even killed his friends...or people who thought were his friends. At least Hitler treated his loyals okay.

That;s a tough one, in Hitlerland, you could probably survive by paying lip service to the government, as it was very prejudice, in Stalin's Soviet Union, they were equal opportunity killers.
