THANK YOU for serving!.
We have an A**hole for president, who sends these guys and gals into almost certain harm's way and what is a nearly unwinnable situation to follow Presidential orders most of them may not even agree with and most of them actually try to make the best they can out of a horrible situation, which seems to have only benefited some of Mr. Bush's friends and NOT much of anyone else.
So I say thank you every chance I get, especially for those in the front of it all, many Marines and Army guys and gals didn't sign up for this business but got put there anyway.
And in talking with many vets , they are more than a little "concerned" about the profiteering and "subcontracting" that Mr. Bush and Co. are so very very fond of but which does not appear to be benefiting THEM as much as we might imagine.
As far as the contracts are concerned, it's all about padding, you get some measly 1-2% commission on any contract, but if the job is to have a truck sent to Iraq, it says nothing about shipping a WHOLE truck or a truck with tires, so you can add the cost of the crappy truck , add cost of the tires for the crappy truck and then the cost "necessary" fully-loaded Hummer you have to bill the customer - us.
It also makes me sure that we should never pick another president like this again and so we have to go to school on ALL our candidates.

My daughter and I saw two US soldiers leaving our favorite restaurant the other day and I couldn't help but yell out to them, "We love you".
My daughter turned red and said, "I am going to tell Dad."
Love and respect is the first thing that comes to my mind....
My husband sees a soldier, he always says, "uuurrrahhh!", must be something between comrades
As for Mark T's comments, nobody can make over 3.5% on the dollar with government contracts.
Seems to me there isn't a whole lot of money being made by anybody.

Three words; man of honor.
In light of a rather silly personal message i just received; I shall add "or woman of honor" isn't it silly that I have to do that for some crybaby?
