im taking the door cover off and ive got it mostly off but it looks like the only thing holding it on now is the window winder handle thingo lol.. does anyone know how to take that off.. my car is a mitsubishi mirage 2000 model

turn the widow crank handle until you can see right down the shaft of it.
you will see a little metal band on the bottom of the handle.
you will need something that has a hook shape, we use to use a fork that was bent up at the end.
put the hook under and behind and pull the horse shoe shape piece of metal out, done lose it.
if you need to row the window up just put the handle back on with out the clip.
to put handle back on easy just put the horse shoe clip back on the handle in the little groove spot.
then put the handle on the regulator stub that is sticking out, give it a quick light tap and bingo.your done.

if you push on the door panel around the window crank you will see the clip ,,,you can rent one or buy a clip remover from auto zone or your local auto parts store....goood luck

there is a clip and you need a pick to remove it, look down the handle because it pulls off that way.......

there is a screw or clip holding on look on inside of handle.
