well I kno that people go to college all the time but for me idk its kind of more special cause i'm only 16. I graduated early and took classes at my local community college so I also finished a year of college. For me going to college is going to be a big step because i'm so young..and its going to be even harder on my parents. I wanna do something special because i kno they are gonna miss me a lot and are so sad to see me go and to see me grow...any ideas?

Not only are you smart, but you are also caring and nice - what a great kid! Your parents must be extremely proud of you! What about turning the tables and instead of making the birthday a celebration of you, making it a celebration of them for having raised you so well for 16 years? You could make them dinner (if you can cook!), give them mementos of special times or special things you do together, etc. In some countries, the people congratulate the mother on someone's birthday, since it was the mom who gave birth, after all. My guess is that you won't be forgotten either, since usually such a generous nature comes from great upbringing, but it might make things really special if you can surprise them by celebrating their parenting. I have actually discourage my brother from doing this because I could not see him go throw not being able to do what all the other freshman are doing (going to the clubs, etc). Spend time with your parents. Go out to eat, see a movie, do something that y'all like to do as a family. I am pretty sure that you will be back home for the summer. A lot college students come home for the breaks. Also, do not try to grow up too fast. Enjoy your youth while you can!!! I am happy to see that you are determine to get finish early. I hope the best for you.
