Have you ever had an annoying, obnoxious, nasty, or just plain rude co-worker? If so what happened and how did you deal with him/her?

I had one that was annoying who was clingy to you. This guy was like 5 years older than me and he didn't really have friends. He kind of acted like he was still in High school. So I could tell why he was clingy to me. Sad thing is I found him creepy and didn't think we were as close as he thought.

Finally one day he got mad at me and I was kind of glad actually. I finally got him to stop be clingy and the other workers grew a better trust with me because they all disliked him. Sad thing though was that he was the Assistant Manager and tried to get me fired. I ended up quitting anyway for school and that I didn't want to deal with someone like him plus the work wasn't going to affect my life or anything.

Kind of miss the job since it was easy, but glad I left because of him.

Yes I have an annoying and sometimes obnoxious coworker. This person laughs so loud, I swear I can hear them when I come in the back door of our building. They are very nice, however they think they know everything and feel they have to do everything for everyone even if it's not their job. I just try to ignore it...luckily I don't have to work w/the person real often.

Oh yes, these group of really uneducated people got together at lunch telling nasty jokes to each other and being loud and rude all the time to everyone else.
I just ignored them and had lunch with the nice ones somewhere else.

Most co-workers are rude, especially when someone knew comes in. That's why I believe all people should have jobs they like. Work is like school, only with money! Kids can get through it, so can adults.

I had a boss who was horrible..I loosened the bolts on her chair and when she sat down it tipped over lol

I sprinkled flower seeds from outside on her desk and chair to make her think it was mouse crap (she did)

we all chipped in an gave her a scam lottery ticket ( she was so happy she cried because she thought she won)

I pretty much made her life miserable, then when I knew I was working a double shift I called in and told her I wasn't coming back in..yeah she was that mean

oh yeah. if anyone has ever had a job and didn't have an annoying co-worker it would be a miracle or they themselves were the annoying co-worker for everyone else.

I have had plenty of them in my lifetime of working and I can honestly say. If there that rude and completely annoying. Just completely ignore them. Sometimes when you give people enough rope they'll hang themselves with it.....

Sitting right next to me. Ive just been putting my foot down. With these people you have to assert yourself or they will run wild. Usually these are the type of people who dont like to be confronted and will back down once you confront them.
