That's not actual milk.
It is called Colostrum, and it's also very important in the developing of your ability to breastfeed.
It's just a liquid that prepares your breasts for the milk, and you will have that until about 2 or 3 days after the baby is born. The babies will drink the colostrum at first, and it's also very good for them and their digestion.
It's good that you got it early, because it means you will most likely have an easier time at breastfeeding once the time is ready.
I had it as early as 13 weeks, so don't worry. You're fine.
And it's a good thing that it came in already! =)

With my second, (who was born 5 years after the first, so LONG after breastfeeding) I started leaking around the same time. I had to wear the breast pads inside my bra the whole time, and at night, otherwise I'd make a nice circle on my shirts. It sucked that it started that early, but at least I knew I'd have a good supply going when the baby came! Oh, well, just one of those things that goes along with the joys of prenancy!

It's not breastmilk. It's called colostrum. Breastmilk doesnt come in until about 1-3 days after you deliver. I hate to tell you this though, but you will be leaking for the rest of your pregnancy. time to invest in some breast pads.
Do you plan on Breastfeeding? My sister leaked and when she delivered and her milk came in, her son breastfed like a champ and she was full of milk.

The breast become enlarged fairly early in the pregnancy, but actual milk does not normally come in until about 2 to 3 days after the baby is born. The first nourishment the baby gets from the breast is colostrum, a yellowish, super food for newborns. Then the milk comes in. If you are concerned about a discharge from your breast then talk to your doctor.

It's okay - some women leak during pregnancy and some don't. Heck, some women leak during one pregnancy and don't the next. I leaked for my first and my third, but not the second or fourth. It's just your body getting its act together. A test-drive, so to speak. Kicking the tires and saying, "yup, these'll do."

Milk isn't produced usually until after birth. Until then, colostrum might be seen leaking from the breasts.

Normally it doesn't come in until a few days after you've had the baby.

Feel very very blessed! Mine never came in and I still cry about not being able to make milk for my little guy.
