Congratulations :-) Make sure she's well rested, the appointment should be scheduled at a time that's good for her (not nap time, etc.) Take an item that makes her comfortable if necessary, including a small, no crumb snack and some water. She will likely make small talk with the agent who will be looking for personality and if your daughter talks with her at ease. Since she may be too young to read with fluency, she may ask her to improv a bit but it depends on the agent. You know, act happy, sad, scared, etc. She may ask her to tell her a story or to tell her what she did earlier that day or the day before. If you take her to the park and show her a bug she would have something fun to tell :-) She already thinks she's cute. Now she wants to see if she'll take direction, if she comes alive even in the presence of and at the direction of strangers, and if she'll make everyone money which is of course the bottom line.

Good luck!!!

Make sure she gets a good night sleep the night before. Also make sure she gets enough to eat, there is nothing worse then a hungry tummy when she may already be nervous. The biggest thing is make sure she knows that no matter if she gets this or not the only thing that matters is that she has fun and tries her best! Don't get mad if maybe she doesn't do as great as you wanted, she's alittle kid.

I don't act but I dance and so I go to many auditions and I know that being well rested, having eatten something and relaxed helps me so much!

First,CONGRATULATIONS! You've done the grunt work, now, the best thing you can do is see that she/he is relaxed&prepared(which I'm sure you've done!)She/he will be asked to tell a little something about themselves, thier school, etc.then, they be asked to read a short scene,it's not a big deal so don't let your 6 year old see that you're nervous&again, congratulations&GOOD LUCK!...Oopa,I mean,BREAK A LEG!TL
