what do people do to control their anger...i really get angry sometimes especially at my aunts and my mother, but i never show it in front of my aunts. my aunt taunts me soo much and agrivates me soo much..then my mom always insults me and then i take out all on her...i reallly dont want this to affect my health or anything...please this is really important i have learn how to callm down, what should i do?

I know this will sound corny but really take a martial arts class. When you spar (fight someone else with pads on) you can put anyones pic on their head and beat the crap out of them. Taking out your aggression in class is way better than keeping it bottled in and blowing up on some one. Also keeping it bottled wusually leads to hyper tension, heart problems etc.
When you choose a class choose something practical. Something you can use in real life. Tae Kwon Do (the most common class taken in US) is good but not practical. I recomend Krav Maga. Its the Israeli martial arts and VERY practical. Its geared towards normal everyday situations. Like muggings, headlocks, being attacked with a gun/ knife etc.

do something you love. like swimming or just listening to music... talk it out to friends... go watch a movie or do something fun. but dont always hold it in.. that is not healthy it will just build your anger up and make things worse. if you have a hard time confronting your aunt and mom because your worried you might just get more angry. then write it down and express yourself on a peice of paper, then give it to them.
For the long run, try getting into yoga. not exercise, yoga. yoga teaches you to become peaceful and calm. IT 100% WORKS!

Just dont react to anything and if someone pisses you off dont say anything to them at all,and then scream into a pillow in your room or something.Also just take a deep breath and count to three before you say something it sounds stupid but actually works.Or anger managment is always a possibility.

I heard my pastor once say that anger is caused by 3 reasons....
either you are hurt
or you are afraid
or you are frustrated .



First take moment to find out why you are angry

.....in your case you are hurt ...Your mother is outta line here.
you need healing ...not retaliation....

if you are afraid maybe figure out why ..
an so on...... address the problem

be slow to anger ....think first .
this will help you control your anger ...also know that God loves you ...and He can work out things in your life and gettin, evn or retaliation is not his way ....leave room for God to avenge you put things in His hands ....leave them there and pray . pray for other people .

Slowly count to 10. Going for a walk, helps to clear your mind and get rid of negative thinking and saying. Yes, please believe, it can affect you health, your sleep, and you have to eat food and drink only those drinks that are healthy for you.

you should tell them calmly and rationally to them that you dont like being insulted and taunted and that you deserve to be treated better.

pick a sport or get a job - the anger will make you perform better
