From 1347 to 1351, the black death (Bubonic plague) killed between 1/3 and 1/2 the population of Europe. I can't think how anything can be worse than that

Well... there's a difference between the worst to ever happen and the one to shock me the most...
The one to shock me the most was probably the Tsunami that caused so much damage a couple of years ago.
The one that was the worst NATURAL disaster to mankind was a Typhoon that hit China in the 1920's... The most destructive typhoon on record.
The worst man-made disaster... Hitler feeding Jews to the ovens of his concentration camps. And the rest of WWII's destruction... (and that was probably also the worst environmental disaster... Millions of vehicles burning billions of gallons of fuel... in the efforts of men trying to kill each other.... among other things that would have caused global warming in the 1940's if Man could cause it....)

When Eve being the fool she was took the forbidden fruit that the Devil had offered her. Therefore she cursed all mankind so that we can see and look upon evil throughout eternity. Just think if she had never take nthe fruit we would still be in blissful heaven in a world full of good and we wouldn't even "hear no evil nor see no evil." Now we are phukked for eternity.

Actually, it's underway- even as you read this; Global Warming. Consider it a "disaster in slow motion..." From NOW on, EVERY major hurricane, drought, heat wave, flood & famine- is going to be enhanced by Global Warming. And as all of these increase in frequency, more & MORE people are going to suffer & die as a result. And this is ONLY the beginning... :(
