I want to have one big night of crossdressing and i want it to be perfect! suggestions?

i have been crossdressing on and off for many years, just doing the basics of putting on anything i can when nobody is around, i have 'tricked' ex-gf to 'make me' dress up and they have dolled me up but it was over within 20 minutes. i want one night where i can just go out and have fun or meet people who can help me. does anyone have any suggestions...

fyi - strange as it may seem, i am definitely a straight male. its just that when i see an attractive female, 90% of the time i think wow, she's beautiful, the other 10% i think wow, i wish i could pull that look off : )

Well, I think the trick is to get a big group together. And THAT really depends on where you live - what your social atmosphere's like. Would your friends go in for it? Or your neighbors? I suppose you could set a night and put up fliers, or make little flier-invations and hand them out to tons of friends and just people you know. You could get together to help each other dress up (much more fun, I think!), or just pick a place to meet and come in drag (probably easier).

Hmmm - my roommate did something like this and it was a HUGE deal, the kind of night I think you'd like - but we're at an ultra queer-friendly college. That makes this kind of thing much easier.

Whatever you do, I think the trick is getting some friends to do it with you. Even if it's just one or two. Oh, and schedule it around local nightclubs (probably gay ones, hope that's okay) - a lot of them have drag nights. Oooh, and also drag balls! If you've got friends in the gay scene ask them to keep their eyes open for any events like that.
