AND the ones who are not shy (few and far between) are completely trashy?

My best friend is neither shy nor trashy. There is much sorrow in this world for many reason including generalizations.

Obviously you haven't spent a lot of time with lesbians as you are so quick to make a judgement. Ok, I'm straight and have a lot of lesbian friends and they are neigher shy and are in no way trashy. Most of them hold down extremly top jobs and look and act like any other woman.
Why is there so my sorrow in this world, because there are people like you who walk around generalizing about people you don't know. Stop doing things like this and life will be much better.

Are they shy or just not coming up to you?
I find most of the girls who actually approach me really directly are trashy, or at least rather drunk. However girls I strike up conversation with at the bar or are less directly brazen in aproaching me are acutally pretty nice.
Also I would hardly consider any girl who didn't talk to me 'shy' ... and besides there's nothing wrong with a shy girl, they are often really awsome people when they open up and are worth getting to know.
I wonder if you have a strange definition of shy because my experiance of lesbians is VERY differnt from your apparent one.

I don't know where you hang the gals I know are just regular woman I go to the gay church MCC some have class some dont its just ppl Ciculate now & u r views may change~ sorrow is part of life ` u can't have the rainbows w/o a little rain~ unless its a gay pride march

Not all lesbians are the extremes you mention.
But I will admit, it seems like most are.
I am not as shy as some are, and I am certainly not trashy.
Reasons for shyness around other lesbians may include but are not limited to:
fear of rejection
fear of misundertstandings
fear of soul-sucking vampire feminazis
fear of socialists
