Well there's always PCGS but the prices are a bit higher than the actual price of the coin. You could ask about your coins here I could answer a few of your coin questions. You could also buy Red Book a guide to U.S. coins 2008 at a local book store. Red book tells information and prices about many U.S. coins. I hope this helps answer your question.

Here is some info and at the end a good site about collecting. "BUYER AND SELLER BE WARE". Some dealers may charge more for a coin than it's worth or buy your coin at a lot less than the present value. This is kind of like buying a used car. The key is to find a good dealer if you want to sell or buy. I guess you could say that about a lot of other type dealers. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Forget PCGS, their price guide is for their coins that have been graded and authenticated and put in to a sealed plastic holder with their name on it. There is no such place free. Coin World and Numismatic news have them for U.S. coins but it cost to join. there are non for world coins for the data base would have to be huge and the price guides for world coins are all copyrighted. I have 5 guides for world coins from 1600 and up and they cost a total of around $250. That does not include specialty books like ones that update Canadian coins. I spend some time here answering questions on numismatic items and if you have just a few coins I can help but don't have the time for large lists. Someday it would be nice not to have to thumb through volumes of books to look up a coin or its value.

PCGS price guides, but it is very over inflated. To really know what someone is willing to buy your coin for, you need to subscribe to greysheet.
