For me: PREVACID works better. I have severe gerds and Prilosec is like taking a placebo. I would rather take PROTONIX but insurance doesn't want to pay the price for it.........so...Two Prevacid a day, for me. Talk to your doctor!!!

prevacid, prilosec takes like 6 days to work where as prevacid works right away

Shoot, everyone I know takes Prilosec. They also have free samples usually at the pharmacy counter at your local Costco store. (I like the samples... Prilosec can be expensive.)

My parents and Grandparents take prevacid. they seem to like it.
