That's because so many of the white elite in this country base the presumption of innocence on skin color and they're the ones deciding the fates of black folks.
The NAACP is not there to demand fair treatment for privileged whites like yourself. You already get fair treatment.
I bet you smell like sour grapes.

Let's start from the top. NAACP stands for: National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
"NAACP leaders urged public restraint Monday in judging Michael Vick before he has his day in court.
R.L. White, president of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said the Atlanta Falcons quarterback has been vilified by animal-rights groups, talk radio and the news media and prematurely punished by his team and corporate sponsors.
"If Mr. Vick is guilty, he should pay for his crime, but to treat him as he is being treated now is also a crime," White said at a news conference. "Be restrained in your premature judgment until the legal process is completed."
Why would they attack the Duke Lacrosse Players?
" In regard to the rape allegations, NAACP officials are pleading with the public to let the police do their job.
"How we handle this will determine what kind of community we are," said the North Carolina NAACP chapter President Rev. William Barber. "As this process unfolds, it should be done in a transparent manner so the whole community will feel confident that justice is being served without regard to racial, economic or social status." I think all they were trying to do was calm down the black communities from lashing out at anyone because of what may or may not have happened. if they were attacking the players wouldn't they have to make a public apology? In all the reports I've read not once does it mention them asking for an apology from the NAACP.

Because the NAACP is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The Duke lacrosse players in question were white, Michael Vick is black.

I think they learned from the Duke case that's why they are asking to treat him fairly. Al Sharpton the leading man on defending black people in America is not supporting him that shock me. I wish thing could have being different and people did not judge base on race trully there's only one race that race is human being and human kind was originate in Africa so we all are black.

Yes, I saw that interview earlier this evening and it incensed me! It's all about race and nothing else.
If proven guilty and based on everything that's coming out, I hope he gets sentenced to the maximum. Abuse is abuse, whether it's children, the elderly or animals. I have no pity for anyone who intentionally tortures another living creature and I don't care what color their skin happens to be.

True patriot you sicken me.
Well isn't this the point of the NAACP? Prove the white man is evil and black people aren't evil?
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
Thats what it stands for. I'm colored, just white. Why don't I get any help from them?

You answered your own question. plus, NAACP, being the socialist, liberal group that it is, incorporates the double standard practice in its agenda. Ah, a lib by any other name......

We know that's true. He's still guilty as hell. Maybe O.J. can give him some pointers on how to get off.
Hope he has fun in prison.
