My eyes were chocolate brown until I was in about 8th grade. I was a swimmer as in..... working out early mornings and then again in the evenings. So I was constantly in the pool. I got it in my head when I was 13 that my eyes were changing colors because of the chlorine in the pool. See the strange thing is.... they started turning green. No joke. And no one at the time could explain to me how my eyes could be a dominant color of brown and then change to a recessive gene color of green.
So now I have brown centers and the rest are all green. The cool part? My daughter is 12 and her eyes are doing the same thing. Genetics are bizarrely fascinating!

green, but my eye doc said they may turn more brownish because I just found out I have glaucoma and put in drops. I hope not, because they have always been cat green and my skin is very light.Nothing against brown eyes, though. My husband has them.

My eyes are green. But sometimes they look blue-ish green to me. And i'm guessing your eyes are brown, right? lol
