Can you cast a spell without knowing?
Can you cast a spell on someone without you knowing you did? Without performing any rituals? Only by thinking of someone? Maybe in a very filled of energy way?

My ex says I cast a spell on him, because no woman finds him attractive, he says not even when he walked past some prostitutes they insinuated things to him, offered their services.
So he says I cast something on him.
And the truth is, that I feel that if he isn't mine, he shall not be anyone else's
He says no woman gets near him, and the few that do, well nothing happens between them

Is it a spell? No. True spells require conscious thought and focus.
However, my mother coined a phrase called 'Wish-craft', where desire and concentration can manifest into reality.
Japanese folklore speaks of the Ikiryo, a spirit manifest from hatred or envy. The person who created the Ikiryo has no control over the spirit, and the spirit will plague the focus of the hate or envy mercilessly until either the source of the envy and hate are eliminated, or the victim is dead.
You may be the source of your boyfriends 'unluck' with women, but it is also possible that the problem lies within him.
Hope this helps, GL

I suppose you might call it that if you are consciously thinking of someone and sending them energy than that might be considered a spell. You ARE paying attention and concentrating on them. To be very potent would be quite a rare ocurrance though.
Now I'm curious, what is it that you think you've done?
At any rate, there might be a way to un-do it but I'd need more details. You can ping me an email if you like.

The mind is powerful
Your thoughts are powerful
And your words are very powerful
You may think something or say something and not even realise what you have done
A Quote by Peace Pilgrim
If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.
A Quote by John Milton:
The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.
And always remember what goes around, will come around
What you put out, will come back to you

My daughter did when she as 6. REALLY wanted a cat. Left paper all over the place with messages saying this.
Was a good lesson about ethics with this. Because it worked - well kind of. We ended up having to suddenly babysitting someones new kitten for 2 weeks. Thus for filling her wish.
She's more careful about what she asks for now.
Late edit.
Sounds that your Ex is much like mine. ANY excuse will do. Taking resposnibility for their actions just don't figure in their lifestyle.

If you wish to call it a spell then fine. Our own thoughts can create. If we have negative thoughts, that energy is sent out and combines with "like" energy. If we have positive thoughts, The same result. If we have thoughts of controlling another human then we need to look at our own stuff !!! :):):) And If he is your ex...then why do you care??? Unless you yourself can not let go or are to insecure. If this is the case then you have no right
to have any control over him. Think about what I shared.
Peace and LOVE be!!! :):):)

Druids would explain this as the WILL and the WORD. The word is the focus to pour your energy into a matrick to direct your will. Your WILL is the strength behind the focus, the desire to change.
In my experience the WILL is very powerful. I have made things happen through wanting it very bad.

that would be almost impossible since the attention of the one casting the spell is very necessary, so how can you mistake cast a spell on somebody else you didn't want.

Things are sometimes said in anger or hurt and events set in motion by them. Are they sometimes spells? This has been the point of many a debate.

Well you thought it and he believes it to be true, what more do you need? That being said you need to let go of that thinking if you want to move on...he is your ex you say...don't you want to keep it that way?

Maybe not an actual spell. You would be very surprised what direct will can do.
