June (below) LOL Funny how hicks actually think that racial slurs bother people from the north.

Bad news for you, my self-esteem far exceeds that of the people you are used to dealing with. Nice try though.

June (below) Michigan is filled with backards bumpkins as well. That is until you get away from the black bears and such. I worked in Kalamazoo for 1 year.

I also installed a new RADAR system at the airport in Flint MI. I've seen MI. You can have it.

June (below) LOL My people??? Hate to break this to you but, My people are God's people. Thus I understand your disdain toward me. It was prophesized in the Bible. Thanks for sharing. Glad to know that people like you won't be around for the good life still to come. Also, I went from nothing, to serving the country, to Motorola, to owning my own company, sorry to disappoint you...

There is no real way of knowing this. They were and here we are.

Hey don't be picking on Michigan. It is my home state. There are some very lovely places there. And I nor any of my family are bumpkins as you put it. You really need to back off on putting people down.

Carter never elected would not miss much, but more years of economic misery. People want to relive the 1970s economy why? 18% interest rates, and 12% unemployment no thank you. Regan cut the top rate from 70% to 28% which was good thing the wealthy actually started paying taxes, and the money came back to the Untied States. Regan was great by bankruping the USSR by increasing defense spending, and USSR economy was not efficent engouh to take the United States on and Never was.

It's true; Michigan is a dunghole compared to its neighbors. Have you seen Detroit lately?
Anyway, the election of religous fanatics started with Carter (I mean Southern Baptist? Come on!) Gerald Ford, before him, was the last president we've had who belonged to a semi-decent religious affiliation (although it doesn't seem that Clinton was really interested in his professed Baptist church.) The declines in national intelligence and basic decency that have come on the tails of Carter and Reagan are due to this.
You want a smart, compassionate president? Elect a Congregationalist, a Jew, an Episcopalian, a Unitarian, a Quaker or a Buddhist.
Now you know.

Reagan changed the world. Carter did nothing. Carter nearly destroyed our Armed Services. Reagan restored honor.

Very stupid question, Reagan's accomplishments have much to do with Carters failures. Carter not been voted in may have wrote a different legacy for Reagan.
