I'm actually for keeping everything where it is. Though, I'm mad that I'm a year too young to vote in the next presidential election! :) Oh well, I'll have the rest of my life after that.

Raising the driving age to 17 1/2 is great in theory, but that's also when kids start going to college. It'd be crazy having a bunch of teenagers on the roads trying to drive to and from college with little driving experience, so I say keep it with permit at 15 and restricted licence at 16. That way you have 2 full years to practice before you start living on your own.

And the same thing with the voting age. Yes, great in theory because teenagers would have had time to live on their own and experience life before they voted on political issues, but if they're busy with "life" I highly doubt they'll be spending that much time researching candidates.

:)

I am also for keeping the drinking age at 21.

I am for keeping the driving age as it is, since no matter what age people start driving they will be inexperienced. 1 or more extra years of not driving won't help their driving skills.

I am for keeping the voting age at 18. The voting age used to be 21, but people complained that if someone is able to join the military, and die for their country, they should be able to vote. So, unless you change both the age to vote, and the age to join the military to the same age, I would disagree. Besides, legally people become adults at the age of 18, so why shouldn't they be able to vote?

They should raise all three to 50,and lower the age you can enlist to 12! This will solve a lot of their recruitment problems. There will be fewer idiots driving on our highways, and by that time you would know enough that voting for someone for president is useless because under the electoral college system your only granting your consent to an electoral official to vote for you anyway!

Drinking age: 17 or 18...c'mon, we can fly around the world or kill people in war but we can't order a drink??!!!

Driving: 18... Way to many accidents and deaths in teenage years. I'm 16 so this isn't coming from a cranky old lady!

Voting: There should just be a maturity test!!!

But the most important issue here...legalize marijuana...
Marijuana age: 18...seriously what the **** america???!!

personally, i'm a big believer that whatever the age is, they should all be the same.

it's more efficient in terms of everyone understands the system. when you turn X, you get all the rights and privileges that come with it.

but when you're not yet X, you get no said rights or privileges.
