before you start out with a marine tank you better do a hell of a lot of research
As for goldfish, they are easy to care for, here is a site on how to do that

Hope that helps
Good luck

well goldfish are freshwater and a ocellaris clownfish is a saltwater fish. I do reccomend starting with a freshwater tank first then getting a saltwater tank if you find you enjoy keeping fish and actually keep up with the maintenence it takes to keep fish as pets. goldfish get pretty large and are dirty fish so i would start with a betta or some guppies over the goldfish.

I suggest you get a Betta Fish to take care of first. They are really easy to care for, the down side is you need a 5 gallon tank or larger to put other fish in, but a goldfish is a good start and I also recommend it.

Seeing as how you are jumping from freshwater to saltwater and have no idea how to do either..I would go for a goldfish or betta and read alot..
Keeping a freshwater is completely different than keeping a saltwater..

Yes, goldfish are good for cycling a tank because they are cheap. Wait at least 6months to learn the basics before buying new types of fish.
